Issue:
CMS shows temperature alarms that show an individual at 30.2F.
Resolution:
The Abnormal Temperature is caused by 2 conditions:
- The flicker in the camera refreshes every 5 mins by default and takes around 1 sec to refresh the thermal image. During this second, if people appear in front of the camera, the temperature reads as -1C (converts to 30.2F).
- When a face is detected in the zone in the visible lens but not in the field of view in the thermal lens (if the FOV is different on both sides), the temperature reads as -1C (converts to 30.2F).
To filter the abnormal readings, please turn off the "abnormal temperature measurement" option shown below.
Note: When it is turned on the body temperature below the low-temperature threshold or above the high-temperature threshold will be displayed normally. When it is turned off, the body temperature below the low-temperature threshold or above the high-temperature threshold will be discarded.
