An installer needs to setup remote capabilities over their WAN connection.

Resolution:

1. Login to https://www.arecontvision-ws.com/login# with the information provided by Sales.
2. Select the appropriate Channel Partner Account if needed.
   
   
   
   
3. If a customer account has not been created for the specific site, you will need to create one.
   1. Click Add New Account.
      
      
   2. Fill in the information and click Add Customer Account at the bottom.
      
      
      
      
   3. Note the Recorder Registration Code.
      
      
      
      
4. Login to the ConteraVMS.
5. Click Setup > Remote Services > ConteraWS.
6. Enter the Recorder Name how you want it to be identified. 
7. Enter the Registration Code and click Connect.
   
   
   
   
8. If successful, login to https://www.arecontvision-ws.com/login# you can now click on SELECT next to the newly created account.
   
   
   
   
9. Click Connect.
   
   
   
   
10. You will see assigned cameras on the left. Users will have different levels of access depending on the permissions set.
