Salient: Arecont Vision cameras stop responding to pings when added to the VMS

Issue:

Arecont Vision cameras stop functioning as soon as they are added to Salient v5.3.0.71

 

Environment:

  • Salient 5.3.0.71
  • AV12276DN 65215
  • AV20275DN 65215

Resolution:

  1. Contact Arecont Vision technical support for 65215.4
  2. Update to 65215.4.
  3. Factory default the camera via the web page.
  4. Set the initial password on the camera.
  5. Add the camera to Salient.
