Temperature Configuration
The 3212-9000 Thermal Reference Calibration Device is configured to 40 C or 104 F by default.
SV value is the Set Value or the Configured Temperature
PV value is the Indicated Value or Actual Temperature
The up and down arrows in the diagram below can be used to configure a desired Temperature or Set Value.
Temperature Diagnostics
The Thermal Reference Calibration Device can take up to 15 minutes upon startup to reach a stable operating temperature.
If the SV value and PV value are different from each, the user should perform a power down of the unit for 30 minutes then power the device back on. If the two values still do not match, it is recommended that you contact a service center for calibration of the unit.
Device Calibration
The Thermal Reference Calibration Device requires annual calibration through the following organizations:
National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST)
German Federal Institute of physical technology (PTB)
National Institute of Physics (NPL)
National Research Council of Canada (NRC)
