For Accurate Temperature readings within + or - .3 Degrees camera needs to be installed in areas without strong air flow ensuring the detection field is away from objects that could produce air flow or high ambient temperature readings.
Best reference distance is 13 feet i.e. between 10-16 feet from a persons face.
Outdoor configurations require an enclosed environment or tent to ensure accuracy.
The Thermal Reference and Calibration unit needs to be installed where the camera can see it best.
The recommended installation height is 6.5-7.5 feet or 2-2.3 Meters at an Angle that does not exceed 25 degrees from the horizontal line to the face of the individual.
Installing the camera straight relative to a human face will yield the best results.
